Show notes

  • Traveling is like a modern vision quest. It shows us things about ourselves that we didn’t know before

  • The magic thing about travel is that it is empowering to go outside of our comfort zones

  • Travel forces us to be vulnerable and ask for help and build genuine connections

  • Travel asks us to surrender to uncertainty, and we have trouble letting go of control

  • Travel jars us into the present moment and out of our heads

  • There’s room for serendipity and synchronicity to happen

  • Travel can move us out of low energy fields into new energy fields

  • Travel helps us test out the lives we want to live in the future

  • INFJs can travel to escape seasonal depression or sensitivity

  • We get inspiration and downloads of new ideas when we travel because we’re relaxed

  • Travel, hostels, and co-living force us to socialize and meet people who are different from us and give us mental stimulation

  • Travel requires us to use extroverted sensing, which also helps us get into a flow state

  • Sometimes we don’t go on trips because we’re perfectionists, and we over-plan

  • Save points of interest, but don’t plan an itinerary

  • Use Google maps to see the least-busy time to visit destinations
